1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MindFix, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

MindFix is an AI wellness platform where every client is overseen by a licensed therapist. The AI provides supportive conversation sessions with real-time biomarker monitoring, while your therapist reviews session summaries, provides direction to the AI, and manages escalation. MindFix does not replace professional care — it helps therapists support more people at a lower cost.

3. Not a Medical Service

The MindFix AI companion is not a therapist, medical provider, counselling service, or emergency service. It provides supportive conversation and general wellness information only. It does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. Your licensed human therapist oversees your sessions and manages escalation. Nothing from the AI companion should be construed as medical advice, professional counselling, or a substitute for professional mental health care.

If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use MindFix. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

5. Account and Authentication

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. MindFix uses Google sign-in and phone verification. You agree not to share your access credentials or allow others to use your account.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or disrupt the service.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
• Use the service to harm, threaten, or harass others.

7. Biomarker Data

MindFix collects voice and camera-based physiological signals during sessions when biomarker features are enabled. This data is used to provide wellbeing insights and is shared with your therapist. Biomarker readings are estimates and should not be relied upon for medical decisions.

8. Consultant Oversight

Every MindFix client is registered with a licensed therapist. Your therapist reviews session summaries, biomarker trends, and risk alerts. They may also provide direction to the AI between sessions and manage escalation when needed. Therapist availability and response times are not guaranteed by MindFix. The relationship between you and your therapist is separate from your use of the MindFix AI companion.

9. Intellectual Property

The MindFix service, including its design, code, and content, is owned by MindFix. You retain ownership of the content you share during sessions. By using the service, you grant MindFix a licence to process your content as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of Liability

MindFix is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MindFix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. MindFix does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content, biomarker readings, or session summaries.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to MindFix at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason. You may stop using the service at any time.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
